We at South Peninsula Hospital believe that patients undergoing infusion therapy for cancer or other conditions deserve compassionate care from a competent, professional staff in a warm, peaceful environment. That’s exactly what you’ll find at South Peninsula Hospital’s Outpatient Infusion Center. The modern center features two private therapy rooms, a central therapy area, and patient counseling and education areas. There is convenient parking and three entrances, including a private entrance leading directly into the center. Patients will find a comfortable, patient-centered setting with amenities including oversized leather treatment chairs, custom artwork, heated blankets and cozy pillows. Televisions, an iPod docking system, CD/DVD player, coffee and tea are also provided for our patients’ comfort and enjoyment.

Services We Offer

We provide outpatient IV therapy to patients with a multitude of conditions, including all forms of prescribed chemotherapy. Cancer patients with an out-of-town oncologist can receive treatment at our center, provided they have a local primary care physician. Patients can also access cancer care through the hospital’s oncology clinic, offered by Central Peninsula Hospital. Other IV therapy services and treatments include:

  • Monoclonal antibodies

  • Anti-emetics
  • IVIG
  • Blood transfusions
  • Iron infusions
  • Hormonal agents
  • Biophosphonates
